VF-84 Squadron (The Jolly Rogers)
Ivan S. also sent me a couple great links to pictures of the VF-84 Squadron, also known as "The Jolly Rogers." The links and short description of them are on the Odds & Ends page.
The Soundtrack CD
The soundtrack CD [JOS-129] is now available. I bought it through Intrada (There is a link to them on the Links page.) and I've already gotten it, and it sounds great. Thanks to several people for sending me the track list. The CD has 23 tracks and the timing is 53:35. That is about 15 minutes of additional music over the LP (and pirate CD). One track from the LP/Pirate CD called "Helicopter" has been renamed as "General Quarters."
Screen Archives Entertainment (1-540-635-2575) is selling them for $17 each, with shipping at $3.30 for the first CD, 50 cents for additional copies. Canadian shipping is $4.50 for the first, 75 cents for additional. International shipping is $7.00 for the first, $1.75 for additional. I've put a track listing on the
Soundtrack page.

UPDATE:
I have been given an advanced copy and am pleased to announce that this DVD is AWESOME.  You can order it thru the links on this page.   Blue Underground has done a tremendous job with this film.  Many thanks to Bill Lustig, Jay Douglas and Matt Kennedy and the rest of the staff at Blue Underground for making this become
reality.

The Final Countdown DVD is in major stores.  I saw it on the shelves at Borders Books and at Suncoast movies.
Blue Underground worked with Victor J. Kemper the Director of Photography on this film for months.  This is the definitive Final Countdown, making all other versions obsolete.  Special Editions and various other extras have been included, making this the one DVD to own for any collector. Just so there is no confusion, THIS IS NOT the Pacific Family Entertainment DVD.  They never had permission to produce the DVD.

  You can also go to
Blue Underground's website to view their news page and other titles they have put on DVD.  I cannot stress enough how great it was to work with those Guys.  They are AWESOME.

We would also like to thank Steve Reiciti for creating this website, which we have proudly maintained for over four years.
Spectre Publishing would like to thank Martin Caidin.  This site would not exist if he had not written such a great story.  A special thanks to his wife Dee Dee for giving us some insight into the novel and movie.
